| EXAMPLES FOR HOW TO POST STORIES! |
[October 22nd, 2007] |
when you clicked the livejournal cut, it brought you to this post.
EACH TIME YOU WRITE A CHAPTER, PUT IT IN A NEW LIVEJOURNAL ENTRY.
the first cut from the initial community should have brought the reader to the FIRST chapter of your story. which is in its OWN livejournal entry.
after you have written the chapter into the livejournal entry, the bottom should have links to EACH chapter you have finished.
EXAMPLE: if this is chapter one, the bottom of the page will have links to chapter two, chapter three, chapter four, etc. EXAMPLE 2: if this is chapter two, the bottom of the page will have links leading to chapter one, chapter three, chapter four, etc.
this makes it easier for readers to move from chapter to chapter, and it minimizes the random chapter posts in the community.
i would suggest making a seperate livejournal for your fanfiction, so it doesn't go together with your regular entries. if this doesn't bother you, don't worry about it! i'm just a little ocd and like everything to be seperate.
AGAIN- if you have ANY questions, post them here! i will answer them ASAP!! thank you!!
